OUR EDITORIAL APPROACH

Useful. Sourced. Open to correction.

Field notes is Ethon AI’s blog for dental and healthcare operations teams. We write to help teams ask better questions about automation and make their workflows easier to evaluate.

Who publishes these notes

The Ethon team is the organizational author and publisher. Ethon builds healthcare AI products and has a commercial interest in the topics we cover. The byline does not imply independent journalism, a named clinician’s review, or a certification.

Sources and examples

We prioritize primary sources such as official agency guidance and software documentation. Links appear with the sections they support, and a source list records access dates. An access date does not mean an older document was updated on that day.

Worked examples are labeled illustrative. They are not industry benchmarks, customer outcomes, product prices, or forecasts. We show assumptions and limitations so readers can replace them with their own approved information.

AI assistance and review limits

These launch articles were developed with AI assistance for research, drafting, editing, and technical checks. Source checks and arithmetic checks are not a substitute for qualified clinical, legal, privacy, or financial review. We do not claim that these articles have received that professional review.

Do not use a blog post as a patient-care protocol or as a determination that a deployment meets your obligations. Keep sensitive information in approved systems and ask the appropriate professionals to review consequential decisions.

Product claims and comparisons

General evaluation advice is distinct from a promise about Ethon. Confirm the specific integrations, permissions, support, pricing, and operational boundaries in your proposed deployment. We do not infer implemented product features from another system’s API documentation.

Competitor research can reveal useful questions. It does not justify copying another publisher’s writing, inventing performance comparisons, or treating an unsupported claim as proven false.

Updates and corrections

Publication dates reflect the initial release. A modified date should reflect a substantive revision, not merely a rebuild or cosmetic change. Source links and assumptions should be rechecked when a note is revised.

Found an error? Contact the Ethon team with the article title, the passage, and a supporting source. Do not send patient information. Confirmed substantive corrections should be explained in the article.
